Campaign Trail to Nowhere

We are less than a month from the November elections and things are ramping up on the campaign trail and in the ads on TV. Trump has come to Texas three times in the last month and now Vance is coming to Tyler to try and improve the odds for Paxton and Abbott, both of which are trailing in the polls. As Morning Joe says, “it’s fool’s gold betting on Democrats in Texas”, but that is exactly what the polls show, and the Republicans seem to be taking it serious enough by pumping millions of dollars into the state for ads and rallies. The sad thing is the message is still the tired old bullshit complaint about boys in girls’ sports, who really gives a fuck unless there is a definite advantage or the girls will get hurt? The other is democrats supporting parents making sex changes on their kids. Again, a made-up bullshit worry that holds no weight as all democrat candidates have come out against it too, but ignoring shit seems to be what Republicans are good at, kind of like ignoring history of racism and currently profiling Mexicans or anyone brown skinned. I’ve never seen a group as blatantly immoral and unconcerned about other human beings. The reality is they fear anyone that isn’t white and middle-to-late-aged and from the south. The bigotry must stop and hopefully it will all be shut down following the elections, that is if Trump doesn’t try and disrupt the elections again, just like January 6th.

I never count on landslides in the political world as we’ve lived one vote above even in the house and senate for so long, I can’t imagine it being anything different. However, people may be feeling so tired of the diseased approach of this administration that a landslide may be a reality come November. OMG, that would be great. I also must mention that I don’t favor some of the DSA candidates out there running in tight races. I absolutely find the DSA agenda just as appalling as Project 2025. Both hold no value to mainstream Americans and mostly hold hostage the good people of this country. Things like not having prisons and thinking people will reform themselves is just as idiotic as thinking all people of color are bad. These extremist platforms should never be allowed to gain a foothold in American society. But people are enamored with change all the time that we keep swinging the pendulum back and forth and it’s moving too fast when it gets to the middle that those living in the middle can jump on to slow it down. We are in trouble in the United States. I see it, seventy percent of Americans see it, and certainly everyone in the world sees it, but we have people in charge that just don’t care and are only concerned with grabbing as much riches as they can before the bottom falls out for them.

I saw the other day where students were arrested for making a threat to Trump by saying something about him needing to die. I don’t wish harm on Trump and certainly don’t believe violence is the way to remove someone from office, but I do feel he needs to be removed from office legally through impeachment and removal by the Senate. But then what do we have, JD Vance, who although highly educated acts as if he was absent on the day in vacation bible school where they talked about morality towards our fellow humans. He may be worse than Trump as he can stay on thought and speak three sentences in a row without declaring himself the smartest or greatest when he loses tract of what he’s saying. Vance scares me, I’m just disgusted with Trump.

Anyway, the campaign trail has looked very bleak with quarter filled arenas and now they are using smaller venues, so Trump feels there is a large turnout. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are paying people to attend and cheer at his ramblings of a mad man. I hope the Republican party falls flat on its face. Not because I believe something different from the mainline platform of the party, but because they don’t even try to appear in caring about anything other than themselves and displaying allegiance to a man that has no apparent value to mankind. Mostly they’ve all lost their minds, and something has been sucked up into their brains and choked off their ability to do what is right instead of worrying about having another term to possibly redeem themselves. Vote this midterm, this country depends on us all saving America from the destruction of these people in office.
