Nefarious Failed Login Attempts
A very curious thing happens every time I post an article. The level of activity usually depends on content with political opinion blogs being the highest in failed multiple login attempts. The interesting thing is that every instance of failed login attempt, I get an email telling me of the multiple attempt lockout and also provides me with the individuals IP Address. You might say so what, but by using the Geolocation.com, I get the pinpointed location on a map as well as certain information like internet service provider. Using the map, you can then home in on building and then using any home address app, you can further get the physical address of the culprits. I have found it fun learning where these nefarious folks are from. There are the usual suspects you’d expect such as Russian Federation, Afghanistan, Jakarta, The Maldives, and so many from India. But I’m mostly interested in the ones from the good old USA. So far, this has been from Iowa, California, and one from North Carolina. The craziest one being from the County Courthouse in Tyler Texas, Smith County. That one hits close to one of my homes. Best of all, I’m glad to stir interest and emotion. The foreign locations are just being underhanded in their attempts, and I wish them good luck getting past the three layers of security I now have. About the only thing that could happen is they get in and delete articles backed up in two locations being easy enough to replace and change login type info. They might even be trying to get to my hosting site and delete my website all together, to which that also is protected.
My irritation has turned into curiosity. In the game of having fun I’m posting IP Addresses for the last three weeks and location. Here they are:

There are at least another thirty of these since October 18th, but I’m sure the point has been made. The question is why? Are there that many malicious people in the world with nothing better to do than try to wreak havoc on people merely voicing an opinion? Who pays these people? Lots of things run through my head but I know in the end I don’t understand their intent and have protected myself as much as possible on my website. I’ll post this and get another rush of failed login attempts and lockouts. Then I’ll explore the locations of these obviously bored people with nothing better to do than stupid things to others. Happy login attempting y’all!!
