Leave it to Trump
One could almost predict the response from Trump following the disastrous mid-term vote results. It was a shellacking from the Dems, but in typical fashion, Trump is blaming everyone but himself. This is a man that went on a tour of events to speak in favor of his hand-picked candidates (all lost by the way) to try and boost them to a point of winning. This with the aide of Elon Musk and his several PAC and the money support over $450 million dollars. On the Friday following the election day disaster, three White House councils lawyer resigned, the White House Chief of Staff resigned, and Trump promptly named the worst possible choice he could have done in Stephen Miller. They say this guy has been Trump’s brain for both terms. A more bigoted idiot doesn’t exist, so much so I think he’d be a Grand Poohbah for the KKK if he wasn’t a part of the Trump orbit, or should I say, Trump is in Miller’s orbit. Hard to believe these people have absolutely no care that the American people have spoken, they are defiantly disagreeing and thinking they can veto everything and create law through executive order. I guess they forgot how easy it was to get rid of all of Biden’s exec orders, the same will happen in two years whether it is a Dem or GOP that goes into office. Trump doesn’t understand two-thirds majority will override his veto and there is no doubt enough Senators on the red side of the aisle will step across as they are now fighting to save their jobs and that doesn’t mean worrying about being primaried anymore.
The next two years will be amazing to watch. The markets have already responded to Trump and it ain’t good. Reminder to self to start looking for a little more safe havens until the country settles down. The way Trump is going, he’ll double down with Hogsbreath, DOD Dummy in Charge, and the war is about to escalate, there’ll be further sucking up to autocratic leaders of the world and Trump will do everything he can to defy the American voice. Miller needs to go, Hegseth needs to go, Patel, needs to go, and certainly Trumps personal lawyer Blanch needs to go. The corruption has to stop and this disregard for treating people has humans instead of dogs has to stop. I don’t care to have anything as a legacy to remind us of this idiot in office. I want the republican party to return to being something I know and understand. The GOP at large are not race baiting war mongering scared people of diversity. It is a weakness and not a strength to be so fearful of people that aren’t white or straight and so afraid of the Muslim religion. Another ridiculous fear in the MAGA base of fifteen percent. MAGA (Muslim Agitated Gay Aversion) people are a tiny piece of America; the power has never been in the base but in the billionaires that bait them into fear daily.
The next two months will be brutal. The fear is going to be driving the Trump administration hard, and their choices will be crazy to most of us. I expect a lot of resignations to occur and if we thought Trumps choices for positions were crazy before, just wait, they will be off the wall enough that maybe the remaining fear mongers will start say that the decisions are even too much for them. We can’t just sit and watch though, we have plenty to do with our retirement accounts, and shopping diligently to find food we can eat at an affordable price. There will be a lot of doing without, millions of Americans will no longer have insurance and the states that have medically indigent programs will find they can’t afford the support. Crime will increase as people start robbing others to get simple things like food and pocket money. Trump and his stooges are about to try and set this country on fire. God help us!
