Another Election Year… Déjà Vu

Her we are again. Four years ago, we had just suffered the worst presidential reign of all time. So bad that now, “The Donald” has a new nickname, Donald “Hoover” Trump. Hoover, of course referring to the long considered worst president in history, Herbert Hoover. It is so perfect that nicknames are being thrown around at Trump as he makes it part of his campaign in belying stupid nicknames to his opponents. But now old Sleepy Joe is scoring with his Hoover reference, making it known that he feels as many Americans feel, Donald Trump is undeniably the worse president, ever. Herbert Hoover has to be smiling that he is no longer at the bottom. The chaos we endured still resonates for many of us and for so many, we also can’t understand the strange hold Trump has over his MAGA minions. It scares me that he actually has a strong chance of being in the position of president again, although he has stated it will be a dictatorship. I pray that by November, this country will wake up and send this buffoon to where he belongs, in prison.

Much of the problem is that the MAGA chaotic unproductiveness, especially in the House of Representatives, has prevented a real chance for Biden to clearly project himself to a position of success. Instead, he has made such a demand on bipartisanship, that he has failed to really put himself in a position to be the clear choice. With Bobby Kennedy looming in the independent wing of the race, most of us fear he will pull too many votes away from Biden and allow Trump to win. God forbid this country has to try and make it through another four years of this crook, that our only hope can be that the House and Senate will both be dominated by the Democrats, keeping Trump in a check and balance situation. Something that would help, as Republicans are jumping ship from the House and leaving empty seats, is that the Democrats have control by the end of April. If so, and if Biden would leave the bipartisan desire on the shelf somewhere and let some bills like the Border Control bill be reconsidered and passed. What a real boost to Biden it would be too and throw in a substantial Ukrainian, Israel, and Taiwan support package that could turn the tide of the storm in the wars being suffered in two regions.

I talk to many of the people around here and have been surprised to hear how many people that I would assume would be Trump voters, if for no other reason that they vote Republican always. But what they are saying is they fear Trump in office again and to hear them actually say they will either vote for Biden or Kennedy. We all expect Kennedy is more detrimental to Biden, but hearing the people here, I’m not totally confident that it would be the reality. Obviously, Kennedy pulls many votes away from Biden, especially those Democrats that have been unhappy with Biden’s inability to just do what is right for the country, choosing instead to hope the insane asylum House leadership would somehow have a moment of clarity and stray from the Darkside. Don’t get me wrong and don’t misinterpret how I feel, I feel Biden has been a bad president. I acknowledge a few of the successes he has made, but unless the border deal happens before the election, I feel he could have simply accomplished a lot around this subject through executive action, but he hasn’t and his need to have buy in from the other side will be his downfall. Another major problem has been the lack of any significant change to the gun laws of this country. With mass shooting having become a normal daily news note, not even making the lead story, it feels we have all resigned that gun fatalities in this country are to be expected as much as hearing there is a new weather pattern coming to impact the country for the next two weeks.

What I’m left with is this, what the fuck is wrong with this country? We have lost our morality. Our so-called religious leaders have chosen evil misconception over the truth. We actually have a crooked man with four current indictments and ninety-one charges. That’s NINETY-ONE, can you imagine what you would be feeling with this hanging over your head? Trump might be the only one stupid enough to think he’ll be cleared on all while he continues his presidential campaign. He must feel he’ll be able to absolve himself of all charges even though only two of the indictments are federal. Frankly, what I expect he really feels is that he will thumb his nose at New York and Georgia. Of course, neither are criminal in nature, so in the end, he is probably right. What I hope is that something will happen in the interim that causes Trump to be disqualified or the Republican party creates a conscience and removes Trump as the party’s nominee. Although this is highly unlikely since Trump has effectively taken control of the RNC and placed his own people in charge. It is heartening to see big dollar donors pull their money back and place it elsewhere. Exactly where it is going is unknown, but I suspect it will be revealed soon enough. Maybe it is going to the Lincoln Project or MeidasTouch news and ad groups, both capable of strangling Trump’s ability to think clearly, but then again, I’m not sure the man ever thinks clearly. He certainly never thinks clearly in support of the United States unless it also lines his pocket.

One thing is for sure, this country will be damaged beyond belief if Trump is elected. I heard interviews with some MAGA brainiacs this week and one of them made the comment, “President Trump could kill someone on the steps of the White House and I’d still back him”. This is the perfect example of the type of person backing Trump, five dollars at a time. They clamor to him like flies on shit, which sums up exactly the situation. Wake the fuck up you idiots. I’m ok with you not voting for Biden, in normal times he wouldn’t get my vote either, but please grow a brain and either don’t vote or vote for Kennedy. I wonder in the meantime, what would happen if Trump was removed as the candidate? Would Nikki Haley be the fall back or would there just not be a Republican candidate? What happens if he suffered some medical situation not allowing him to continue? I don’t know the rules, for all I know Marjorie Taylor Green or Lauren Boebert would be elevated. Or maybe the evil bible thumping Mike Johnson would be placed in the candidacy. Mostly, what I would really like to see is Trump get trounced in the vote. It would be interesting to see the blood bath Trump is calling for if he loses and who would actualy be losing the blood. He is already saying it is going to be a rigged election, and as we have become so aware of over the last three years, Trump never loses, he just gets cheated by the democrats conspiracy and the alien tactics they utilize. I’m really not looking forward to this election. My state has become insane and is unrecognizable to my previous years living here. I’m disappointed with politics, in general, and look forward to the day when this current mess we are all in is only a history lesson taught in school. Of course, with the cancel-culture society we live in, it will probably be only a memory for those of us that lived through it and we’ll be told it really didn’t happen and we must be stupid in thinking it did. I really hope God gets out of politics and works to helping save mankind. We certainly don’t seem capable of saving ourselves.
