The Deception of the GOP

I’ve been watching with some humor at how many of the Trump prodigy are getting in trouble, under investigation, saying repetitive idiotic nonsense and just overall ignorant crap on a day to day basis. It makes for a good laugh in most cases, but there are a few that seem dangerous and deceptively following some playbook to destroy democracy while we aren’t really watching. As is typical of the Democratic party, there is a lot of smug we won attitudes and seemingly somehow not believing that history won’t repeat itself like 25 of the previous 27 administration changes. That’s right, 25 of the 27 previous administrations that had full control the first two years have lost the congressional seats needed to maintain a hold on getting something done while in office. Biden too will become a lame duck president without much doubt come the 2022 midterms.

The deceptive ones are the Ron De Santos and the Greg Abbott evil twins. These guys are single handedly creating the environment for increasing the inflationary pain we are feeling. Abbott controlling the border and the ability for trucks to cross into the US is having a direct impact. They are creating direct impacts and blaming everything on the Biden administration in the process. Creating state laws that are direct challenges to Constitutional laws such as outlawing abortions, directing school reform much in the way of past dictatorships and fascist leaders. Limiting free choice and telling us what is best and right for each of us as if we don’t have a brain and can’t think for ourselves. These two men are about as dangerous as they come, much more so than Trump, because these guys aren’t committed to themselves and the progression of themselves as what we want. Nope, these guys are pushing ideologies and philosophies of the ultra conservative national following. They don’t make it about themselves, instead they make it a platform that is easier to argue and defend. You can’t keep saying the platform is Trump because Trump has no platform except to gain power and be in charge. He doesn’t have the sense God gave a Billy goat as my mom used to say. But De Santos and Abbott will be running for president in 2024 and steadily gaining popularity that I’m not sure even Trump could overcome. But Trump is still in control of the GOP and now has made the RNP declare that no GOP candidate for president will participate in debates. Debates are at the heart of democracy. So if you don’t think democracy is being challenged then you need to stop with the arrogant observations and the scoffing at the GOP and declaring them all idiots. The idiots are in the news, but they aren’t in power, but instead look in the wings at who are making state law and constitutional changes and setting the platform for the future of the GOP and RNP.

Look at Putin and his thought that the Western democracy was on the way out and the unification of the Western countries are a dying united front and that NATO was on the verge of breakup. He so badly misread everything and his timing has produced only one thing for himself, he will be a war criminal along with many of his administration and generals. I hope in the near future that the rest of the world finds the guts to put an end to Putin and his Russian regime that has been in control for far too long. North Korea is once again embolden and are launching new test intercontinental ballistic missiles. The world is going mad and the more the governments seem insane, the more we are seeing citizens emblazoned to create chaos and mayhem for the rest of us. The ridiculous thing is we are talking about a minority fraction of the US population and certainly for the world, but like some James Bond movie, the sinister madman hungry to rule the world with well funded organizations is gaining momentum and power while we shake our heads and comment on how crazy they are. I’m as guilty as anyone in not doing anything about it except through the opportunities to vote.

If we don’t get the word out to those that cherish the rule of law, the constitution, and certainly democracy then we are all going to be experiencing some very uncomfortable times ahead. If the four years of Trump didn’t scare you and give you proof on how fast the USA can fall from the graces of the world, just wait and see how fast it will happen with men that are smart enough to form an intelligent sentence and actually have an agenda and a plan to follow.

I’m scared about the future and the tactics of these idiots, but I’m frightened about what the future looks like with the subversive men and women that are very good at following the playbook and believe in what they see as a much needed change to the United States and the way of life most of us know and love. We need to fight for what is right. If we don’t, we aren’t going to be free to do as we want. We will only do what we are allowed to do by the ultra-conservatives that think they have history and God on their side and earnestly believe they are saving the world from itself because democracy and the freedoms it bring have taken away their ability to believe in their way of life. Be careful, they have learned well how to be smug, how to control, and how to take your words and use them against you. You know, as the so-called educated democratic party has been doing to them for many years. Times are a changing, but the change hasn’t happened fully, just the foundation has been laid. We still have time, not much, but there is still time enough to set the country and the world on the track of right.
